I’ve been a student for many years and I’ve got to know many teachers so I had expected a school as I know them from home.
But the atmosphere in the classroom was like chalk and cheese, so relaxed and pleasant.
Furthermore, the great personalities of the teachers were just amazing and. We had a lot of fun and every student could focus on his / her priorities. Our preferences were taken seriously and we didn’t only learn English, but also ways of improving our skills by ourselves later.
On the other hand, the exercises we did were always of the same type, which felt repetitive after a while. Of course, that’s how you should prepare yourself for a Camebridge exan, but I would have apreciated some more variation.
All in all, we had a great time at school and we learned a lot and the preparation for the exam war very good. I highly recommend Discover English not only because of its teachers but also because of its fantastic location right in the city centre of Melbourne. Moreover, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
