You can choose between group classes in mini-groups (3-6 students), private classes, or one of our special packages like a combination of group and private classes, DELE preparation, Spanish in combination with a volunteer project or Spanish & Tango as well as Spanish & Sailing.
All our programs are designed in accordance with the Common European Framework (A1-C2) and the Cervantes Institute.
The courses are based on interactive teaching methods which combine both the use of everyday language and the systematic study of grammar. Role plays, discussions and other communication technologies are an integral part of our teacher’s curriculum.
In order to make the lessons as structured and informative, but at the same time interesting and entertaining as possible, we work with a lot of additional material alongside the traditional textbook (VEN, published by Edelsa) that gives the students full immersion into the Latin American culture and its language peculiarities and practices.
After completing the course, students receive a certificate with the type of course, the course duration and the language level.
Accommodation is a crucial element for the success of your stay in Buenos Aires! Our goal is to ensure the highest possible standard of accommodation and we therefore choose those very carefully and conduct regular quality checks.
To give you the best possibilities to improve your Spanish skills as fast as possible and to experience the local Argentine’s daily life and customs, we offer homestay (single room with breakfast or half-board) and shared apartment accommodation. Private apartments and rooms in hotels/hostels are also available if you are looking for a little more privacy.
All our accommodation options are centrally located and easily reached within 5-45 min from school, on foot or by public transport. When enrolling with us, you can express special wishes and needs (allergies, dietary needs, preference of neighborhood etc) which we will gladly consider for advanced bookings.
The respective accommodation is available to you from Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday after the end of course. Additional days can be booked on request.
To maximize your Spanish immersion and Spanish learning in Buenos Aires, we organize weekly cultural activities and excursions. The activities are guided and for free (students only pay for their own consumptions, such as entrance fees, meals, etc) and get redefined every week, making sure that even for students that stay over a couple of weeks, we always offer something new and different.
In addition to traditional activities, such as the free city tour on the first day of school, Argentine film nights, a visit to a traditional milonga (tango bar) with live orchestra and to one of the emotional and exciting football games, your stay at CHE Buenos Aires will also be supplemented by even more unique and authentic activities.
For example, we regularly organize a half-day trip to one of the recreational areas of the porteños (people from BA) outside city, where students enjoy the beautiful view of the coastline, overlooking the Río de la Plata up to the city skyline, while relishing over a Picada (traditional appetizers) and a glass of argentine wine.
We arrange dinners in one of the most original Parrillas (meat restaurants), and guided tours to special neighborhoods, such as the from street vendors and loud cumbia-music dominated Once, or the hidden Barrio Chino (China Town), where students have the opportunity to see the a different side of Buenos Aires, and to really get to know the history and culture of Buenos Aires.
Our asados (barbecues) on the sun terrace of CHE Buenos Aires where both students and teachers enjoy freshly prepared steaks, the most typical wines, and of course the cozy get-togethers, as well as many other cultural highlights, are also part of our offered activities.
We are also happy to assist you in organizing your day or weekend-trips to traditional Argentine estancias, the fascinating Iguazu Falls, the famous wine region Mendoza or the neighboring Uruguay!

Small school with very good atmosphere. They have a patio which is really nice to meet other students.

Courses in very small groups, which allow the student to speak and to interact a lot during class. Helpful teachers and administration staff concerning life in Buenos Aires. A lot of activities are organized by the school and are free of charge.
I would rather choose to live in a shared flat than in a family. The school does look that students live together with argentinian or latin american people.

CHE was such a friendly helpful and encouraging place to start my travelling experience in Argentina.
They understood what I wanted from the course - which is a basic level of spanish to support my travels - and delivered a course that was appropriate for that.
The smiling faces of the staff were an absolute highlight!
The intensive structure is great although you have to getting out and about to practice in real life everyday too - which is where a homestay is beneficial.

I loved going to school at CHE. For me it was located perfectly, only a few walking minutes from my home. The first day of school I was warmly welcomed by Patrizia the receptionist. She and the whole staff were always very helpful with every question or concerns we had. I’m also grateful for the teacher (Macarena) I had. She always managed to keep me motivated and I learnt a lot. Although I hoped there will be some more people at the school, I had a really good time with all the people at my accomodation and also did I enjoy the activities guided by Leandro.
I recommend to future students to consider exactly what kind of accomodation you need. Staying in a shared apartement is a lot of fun. But be aware you can’t focus on your homework at home. There will be people who are on holidays and sometimes it’s not easy to refuse going out. That is why your homework and school can be neglected.

I came here in winter and the school (CHE) wasn’t overbooked but still the atmosphere, teacher, people were great and the city is nice as well, even when it isn’t that hot.
The family I stayed was typical argentina and very friendly and the food was amazing every day. From the first day on I loved the city and the people with a great spanish accent.
And Rio de la Plate is an awesome location for sailing.
