Terms and conditions for online Advertisement
With your signature or your online booking you also accept the “Terms of use of the website(s) of EducationStars” and the following booking conditions:
Contract
By signing the booking form of EducationStars Ltd or using the online booking form on the internet site of EducationStars you enter into contract with EducationStars Ltd.
This contract is valid for the booked services as stated on your booking form. We will confirm your booking within five days. If you don’t receive a confirmation within five working days, please contact us. The payment period begins with the online activation of your ad. The contract may in accordance with the conditions below be terminated at any time.
Large Leaderbord
This placement (Plan 4) is available as a shared space. Up to three advertisers rotate randomly the place of the large leaderbord ad. Banner/image are responsive medias. Large on large medias (Computer, Workstations) and smaller on smaller medias (iPad, notepads, iPhones, mobile phones). The large leaderbord ad will be placed on all pages and languages.
Side Box Ad
This placement is available as a shared space on the booked pages. Up to ten (category A) advertisers rotate randomly between the top and bottom position on a page, displaying each banner ad to 40% of the viewing traffic. Up to twenty (category B) and up to 30 (category C) advertisers rotate randomly on the pages. Banner/image are responsive medias. Large on large medias (Computer, Workstations) and smaller on smaller medias (iPad, notepads, iPhones, mobile phones).
Languages
The ads will be placed on the pages in English if no special agreement was made. You can book the ad on additional Languages if available.
Payments
Payments must be made within 30 days after receipt of our invoice.
Change of your subscription
In case of any change of your booked advertisement plan we will charge you as follows:
For upgrading changes of your subscription:
The previous booked subscription will be charged “pro rata temporis” up to the point of the actual change
The new booked advertisement plan will be charged “pro rata temporis” from the point of the actual change on
For downgrading changes of your advertisement plan:
For downgrading changes the cancellation and refund policy occurs and the change will be handled as a new booking afterwards
Cancellation and Refund
In case of dissatisfaction from our services, clients have the right to cancel their contract and request a refund from us. Our policy for the cancellation and refund are as follows:
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of advertisement can be made at any time. They have to be done by e-mail. Cancellations are only valid after confirmation from our side. Confirmation from our side must be made immediately but at least within five working days.
Refund Policy
Refund policy for already made payments:
The month within we receive your cancellation (final month) will be charged as one entire month
We will pay back “pro rata temporis” for the lingering time period after your cancellation has been received and confirmed, counted from the end of the final month on
Refund policy for outstanding payments:
The month within we receive your cancellation (final month) will be charged as one entire month
We will charge you “pro rata temporis” for the time period up to the point of cancellation receipt and confirmation, counted from the end of the final month on.
Other Refunds
Except the refunds listed above, we do not offer any kind of refunds. No refunds apply for already used services. No refunds apply for booked but not used services.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss substantive law applies, subject to national or international mandatory legal provisions to the contrary. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of EducationStars.
